Things I've Built

Here are some of my favourite projects that I'm currently working on or have worked on:

Completed

Honours thesis

My honours project focuses on utilising various machine learning techniques to predict total number of patient arrivals in an emergency department and further extend it to predict sub-types of patient arrivals (by ward and patient complexity) for the next day.

This project strengthened my skills in feature engineering, data pre-processing, and evaluating different machine learning approaches for healthcare forecasting problems.

Completed

iOS cricket app

As part of my undergraduate mobile application development course, I built a cricket scoring app for iOS. This project allowed me to strengthen my Swift programming skills and gain practical experience in designing user-friendly mobile applications.

Completed

Flutter cricket app

In another assignment for the same course, I developed a cricket scoring app with Flutter, focusing on cross-platform development. This project helped me understand how to design applications that run smoothly on both iOS and Android, while also deepening my knowledge of UI consistency and responsive layouts.

Ongoing Learning

EPL Winner Prediction

This small practice project explores web scraping and machine learning to predict the English Premier League (EPL) winner. I gained hands-on experience in Python programming, data analysis, and handling real-world sports datasets, including feature selection, model evaluation, and predictive modeling to derive actionable insights.

Completed

AUnity (GovHack 2025)

For GovHack 2025, my friends and I spent three days creating AUnity, a website designed to support both newcomers and locals in Australia. The platform makes it easy to learn about Australian values, history, and daily life while helping people connect with their community.

During the project, I focused on frontend development, designing a clean and user-friendly interface. Together, my friends and I developed features such as an AI chatbot and language selection, ensuring the platform is accessible to everyone.

About Me

I recently graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Tasmania and completed my Honours year, where I focused on applying machine learning in a healthcare setting. During my studies, I also joined a studentship program at CSIRO, gaining hands-on experience with software development — including static site generators, APIs, unit testing, and Django. These experiences strengthened my passion for using technology to solve real-world challenges.

I am super excited to design and build technical solutions that help businesses and organisations work smarter and more effectively. Here are some areas I love working in:

Website Development

AI & Machine Learning

Data Science & Analytics

Mobile App Development

The projects above highlight some of the things I've found interesting, but what drives me most is curiosity and a love of learning. This portfolio captures just the beginning of my journey, and I'm looking forward to continue to build and explore new challenges along the way. Thanks for stopping by — feel free to explore further!
